To be honest, the reason why I haven’t posted my every thought and whim on the “interwebbings” is mainly because of two things:
- People do and say stupid things on the internet and I’m scared stiff of becoming one of them.
- What to write about?
Up until now, I’ve felt that I haven’t had much to write about, but obviously I can’t use that excuse this summer. I know that at least a few of you back home would like to hear from my San Francisco life every now and then.
I told some of you that I was going send some electronic travel letters to you electronic mailbox, but after an insightful moment on a long plane trip I thought I should grab the bull by its horns and do a blog instead. As I see it there are benefits for us all:
- I will conquer my fear of posting stupid things on the internet
- I can write as much as I want and post as many images I want to without having to worry about filling your inbox
- I can write as little as I want and post no images if want to without thinking about filling your expectations, since you can choose to stop reading and forget about my blog whenever you want to
Also, I decided to do this blog in English because I need the practice. I hope that’s not going to be a problem for you, guys. Maybe I should have a poll someday…
So there you have it, Peder is blogging! Yes, it’s a small and unpretentious, might even be quite insignificant, just the way I want it to be.
Finally, if you have any suggestions, tips, hints, wishes, thoughts about the blog or for my stay here in San Francisco, don’t hesitate to post a comment or send me an email at pedertorget@gmail.com!
Greetings
-p
